In true San Francisco fashion,
we arrived on site for their elopement and discovered the Sutro Baths to be covered in a blanket of fog. Taylor and Andrea exchanged vows along the cliffs at Lands End with the birds as their witnesses. The two brides cried tears of joy as they recounted the miracle of their friendship, relationship, and now marriage. We could not have picked a better place for them to profess their love and announce their new journey together as wife and wife.
They say that birds on your
wedding day bring good luck.
On the way to Sutro Baths, Andrea shared her
fascination with birds and requested some
shots with them flying overhead. So we were all
hoping for a bird sighting! The birds gifted us
with far more; they were a prominent feature
throughout Taylor and Andrea's elopement.
As Taylor and Andrea exchanged vows, we all wept. I left their elopement two friends richer and with the feeling that I'd been a part of something sacred.
I am so passionate about photographing elopements. A day structured around you and your partner makes for an unforgettable experience. I am always honored when couples choose me to be a part of their special day.
